stringed instrumentsMy wife and I spent several days at Clifftop in West Virginia. It was a chance to play a lot of clawhammer banjo and hang out with old and new friends.

Wayne Rogers of Gold Tone and I spent some time playing banjo duets and that was lots of fun. I played fretless and he played a 5 string cello banjo.

Now that I’m home I’m getting back to work in the shop. Two dulcimers are currently in progress, one cherry and one walnut. Both will have bearclaw spruce soundboards.

I caught a few typo errors moments before packing up the masters and artwork for the new CDs so they will probably go out tomorrow. I am happy I caught them before sending them out!

I should have CDs in hand by the end of the month!
